I'm being scheduled for treatment next week. he says I…

Pulmonary Embolism and Infected Port
Had both at once and ended up in intensive care last week. Now they're saying I can never have a port again and I have to get a picc line instead. Does anyone have a picc line and do I have a choice on where it's placed? I had a temporary one in the hospital and I was miserable with it.
