So I followed your guys advice and got the mucus thing checked out yesterday and got the call about 30 minutes ago that I am not dealing with a local reccurance but rather C-Diff. On for a scan
Went to the onc today and now he wants to schedule Jake for a scan at the end of the month. Hopefully he won't change his mind between now and then! Should find out his CEA in a day or two--doc thinks it will be much lower. Guess the Erbitux is working a little too well--on Jake's face at least. Doc took one look at him,…

Hello fellow CC survivors, I having been doing some naturopathic things for about a year now . . . . on top of loads of exercise, and continually changing/modifying my diet. Now I am looking into mistletoe injections and/or Vitamin C IV. My naturopathic doctor is open to doing both or either with me. I don't know the cost…

What were you doing 10 years ago today?
I was in my office talking to a parent when the secretary came in and said someone called and said a plane flew into the Pentagon. I didn't realize the ramifications of that until we turned on the TV and saw the Twin Towers. I was a middle school principal in building shared with a high school. I went down to speak with…

Is there a way of getting around wearing that stupid pump?!?!
I'm 30 years old and was diagnoised with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in April - no cancer in my family so this was a huge shock to my husband and I. I had major surgery to remove part of my colon and the tumor soon after the discovery. I just finished 6 rounds of chemo (oxaliplatin) through a port in my chest. I do this every…

Walking
Monday my back turned into a knot and I missed my walking Mon, Tues, Wed. Work on my feet all day and the knotted up back is not fun. Of course the numb feet from the neurapathy doesn't help much either. Still knotted up but I did my 3.5 mile today. I just did it at a slower pace, 3.8 MPH vs 4.5 MPH and took twelve more…
