Question guys
For anyone who's had mets to the liver. Sometimes when your liver is sick and not working well or it has cancer in it your eyes would have yellow in them I'm just wondering when you get the cancer out of your liver should the yellow in your eyes go away or will it stay? Hugs to you all Tina

Why I Hate Hospitals!
This is just my rant for today, and I know It is NOTHING compared to what some of you have gone through, but it makes me angry, nonetheless. At 12:30 Tuesday morning, my son called me so sick he could barely talk. He had been vomiting and running to the bathroom for 6 hours nonstop and could not keep anything down. He…

Distribution of FDG
I just noticed a sentence at the bottom of my PetScan result and was wondering if it means anything. "The rest of the exam demonstrated physiologic distribution of the FDG." Does anyone know? It doesn't say uptake or anything else, just that one sentence.

I'm not sure about additional treatments at this point either (e.g. chemo). My Golf league starts next Monday (4/30). Should I drop out of the league? My…

how do you pick yourself up when chemo doesn't work
Hi there, After 3 months on taxotere/ docetaxel, we learned that the chemo did not have any effect on the cancer cells and in fact, there was spread. We decided to try this drug because my mom, with distant lymph node mets, had used a lot of f-u and dr wanted to see if a taxane would work. It didn't. Now, we're going to go…
