three cheers for the immune system
Macrophages are large cells of the immune system that literally consume and digest tumor cells. End quote. I am studying chlorella and cgf and read the above sentence. It reminded me of Craig's post. It was simple I thought I would make this a pro immune system post as Craig's was negative With regard to its ability to…

Facing Death - Awkward!
Hi Everyone, Years ago, I had discussions with others about whether or not I would ever want to know if I was going to die. I didn't think I could handle it but now I know I can. It is a difficult and weird feeling but I am also very glad that I have the opportunity to do some things I want to do and get things in order. I…

Can the 1 liver mets be taken out before the rectal tumor?
I have rectal cancer and I am currently doing the chemoradiation, then have to wait 3 weeks to take rectal tumor out - is there any reason why they wouldn't take liver tumor out during the wait time? Can they take the rectal tumor and liver tumor out during the same surgery or is that too much? Sandy

Has anyone gone to Md Anderson for treatment instead of local?
When I first got my diagnosis on 4/11/12 - my husband and I talked about driving to MD Anderson in Texas, but I told him I wanted to talk to local MDs first to see what they had to say. After talking to oncologist and surgeon - they both said I would be getting identical treatment, unless I wanted to try some experimental…

Thank You
Just a quick thank you to all who come to this site weekly and some daily. When you have cancer, the consistency and loyalty of people are a big, big help because so many people abandon you. You wouldn't have to come here to offer support... especially the ones who are in remission, but when you do, you are being SOOOOO…

Your opinion please,
How many rounds of FOLFOX do you think are needed to see if it's working on CAT or PET I'm not monitoring my CEA this time as I don't want to have a nightmare every 15 days but we agree with doc to make a PET after my 3 th shot, is not that too early? Did some body experience growing with 3 or 4 rounds and then after more…

Thoughts on recent posts/threads
On this Board there is a wide variety of personalities and opinions, yet we are all united by cancer, and we're here because we want to support each other and find guidance during the darker times. For some, cancer is active and in the front of their minds; for others, the cancer may be gone--or only hiding or sleeping. I…
