Ireland
I want to visit Ireland, and have a Guinness as a domestic beer! Also would like to spend at least a month, in the summer, in the Colorado Rockies. Love it there. But most of all, enjoy my first grandchild, due to make an appearance this August. Looking forward to the rest of my life!0 -
Simple bucket list
Hey,
Great question. Simple answer for me ~ I want to live!!!

India...
... Thorsten hopes to get back to India for travel. We had to cancel our planned second visit due to his diagnosis. We went there 2010 and were absolutely thrilled. Never visited a country like this before where the people are SOOOOOOO cordial and hospitable without any bad faiths.
(I would love to go back too)

What a great thread!
I have an immediate thing to do on my bucket list - see a Connecticut Warbler on its way
through here heading north usually in mid May (the only North American Warbler I haven't seen and it keeps eluding me). That done, I'd like to go back to Australia, particularly the Perth area, to see the unique birds and plants in western Australia.
Cheers!

1ST CLASS....buckeye2 said:My husband and I always
My husband and I always hoped to live in a different place. We both graduated from the same high school and settled in that same small town. We always envisioned we would live for a time in downtown Chicago after retirement. Lisa
I travel a lot but have always been too cheap to fork out the extra bucks to fly 1ST CLASS....that's what I plan on crossing off my bucket list this year...flying me and my son 1ST CLASS to see a Cowboys Game.... 1st Class with my youngest daughter to CP10.... 1ST CLASS to Vegas with my oldest daughter...and 1ST CLASS with my sister to Bermuda. Those are the only travel plans made so far this year and 1ST CLASS all the way baby!!!!
:-). Love u guys.......... Jennie0 -
Hey Joe- Would like to see
Hey Joe- Would like to see the Grand Canyon with my wife and kids... Hopefully while they're kids. Mostly, I would like to get a patent issued in my name. I have always dabbled with inventing and had a few pending that didn't pan out. My grandfather had a few, my dad had one and I'd like to carry on the tradition. I've got dozens of original designs or products that other people got credit for but haven't got my own yet....

I flew first class for the first time in my life this year, but it was a mistake as the plane was full so i got it for the normal price.
i have an idea for you... it might not be your style, but i'm still going to toss it out there. If you fly with the same airline all the time... get some names in the marketing adn PR department at that airline as well as the CEO, President and CFO and CMO (Chief Marketing Officier)... write them a letter a week and plan them out...
1st letter... stating that you are in a cancer battle and your bucket list is to fly first class... and list the trips out. Ask for assistance with the costs to fly first class and se if they'd be interested in making this a PR event supporting their customers and cancer survivors.
2nd letter... send the same letter again, and add a short cover letter asking again... and telling them about your bucket list.
Maybe ask them to upgrade you to first class at no charge and ask them to make you a huge frequent flyer or rewards person.
it might work, it might not... but a few letters just might help you out.
just an idea...
good luck and get those flights!

Greetings CJ
I love the idea of the patent in your name.
but, focus on the idea and your creativity.... the patent will come!
sometimes we shoot for the prize (the patent) and so focused on that, that the creativity and ideas get overcome by the prize.
I wish you the best in that journey.
I'm a marketing, sales and idea guy... but not an inventor.
so once you get the patent and the product, I'll help you sell and make money with it.
have you ever read about Philo Farnsworth?
he was the first inventor of the TV Tube. But he spent his life chasing down other who copied the patent and stole his ideas... and never made money off his ideas.
he's in the Smithsonian as the original inventor of the TV, yet never made much money from his ideas. It's a great story and many lessons in there.
I love inventors and new ideas that create change.
we need more innovation.
focus on the ideas and the creativity... you'll make it happen!
my best

Joe's Bucket List
you're all going to think i'm totally crazy. But, i've been thinking about my list for the past two months while being off work. In March i finally went back to work, so i think about my bucket list a lot less. But, i had taken time to do my thinking, resarch and had typed out the entire list in early March. So, i posted this post to get people thinking and to gather more ideas... so... here's my list (Yes, i'm a bit crazy) In my career i've always had lists of what equipment and technology to buy and I've always been big on business plans and goals in life and business. So... enjoy this and i hope this provides ideas for others.
Joe’s Bucket List
While fighting cancer, many thoughts go through my head. I think a lot about my past and the future. My top things on my bucket list is to see each of my kids graduate from college. My next top event is to be there for any of my kid’s weddings. And, walk Kelly down the aisle at her wedding. (she's 11 now)
Why a bucket list?
Because the more things we have to look forward to and the more things we have to dream about and plan… the more filling life will be. Let’s not let life pass us by. Let’s make our bucket list and lets live life.
A couple big questions to think about are:
• Have you found joy in life?
• Has your life brought joy to others?
But, let’s not just stop there… how many times can we bring Joy to ourselves and to others.
My bucket list should be individual goals and ideas, as well as things for Dana and I and ideas for our family to experience together. These events will bring joy to each of the six of us as we experience the new or unexpected. And, we should also include extended family whenever possible.
Sharing our experiences with family is top priority and we will create life long memories, laughs and grow together. When possible or when the event is right, friends can join in our bucket list.
By sharing our bucket list with others, we will bring joy to them as they begin to explore their thinking and hopefully improve their life and family life.
