I have rectal cancer and I am currently doing the chemoradiation, then have to wait 3 weeks to take rectal tumor out - is there any reason why they wouldn't take liver tumor out during the wait time? Can they take the rectal tumor and liver tumor out during the same surgery or is that too much?

    Don't know....
One is surgery and one is RFA or is the liver one also surgery?
Sorry, but that's all I can think of why there might be two different "surgery' dates.
    Hope you are doing okay.
