Little known facts pertaining to Post Reconstruction
Well now that I am more alert I have been reading the material the surgeon gave me and I came upon some information I was unaware of. Apparently when you have implants put in you will most likely hear sloshing in the area of the implant. This is antibiotic solution that is left behind to protect the implant. Let me tell…

Dear TGF, I hope I didn't insult or offend you with my observation of Mardi Gras and breastless. That was not my intent at all. I would never say anything that I thought would hurt one of my sisters on this board. Please let me know if I did so we can set this right. Love and Hugs, Donna

Went for oncology visit on April 9th. I told my dr. that I had coughed up blood a few times in the past week. I thought it was because of allergy season. Bronchoscopy!
I hate the waiting. My dr. has consulted with his associate and decided not to do the biopsy of 1 of the nodes in my lung but instead going to go thru the throat with a scope. I guess they're more concerned with the suspicious mass. I go in on Wednesday. Couldn't sleep last night. Bundle of nerves, and head spinning. Joanne

Feeling depressed
My one and only support system that has been my mom throughout my entire cancer experience has been strained. NO evidence of malignancy in either breast!!!!
Ladies, I have been fretting about an MRI I had yesterday. It was purely for radiation planning purposes, not a diagnostic. But still, I was scared to death that somehow more cancer had grown in the left breast, or that something would show up in the right. I had visions of more chemo and fears that TAC had proven…

Is Herceptin usually given w/ Taxol?
I asked my oncologist what other meds, if any, will be given with my Taxol infusion. She said none other that these pills I have to take the day before and the day of chemo. I just can't stand being away from you...you ARE my family!!!!!
Hello, Kindred Spirits!!! I thought "things" and "situations" outside of these boards would keep me away from all of you for a while.
