Stitches Out Today
Well, this is off topic, but they removed my stitches today from the bone spur surgery. What a relief, as they were in there tight, and really felt better once they were out. The ortho asked me how my pain had been and how would I rate it from 1 to 10...10 being the worst. I told him it had been about an 8.....he hit the…

Today I had a PET scan done and tried not to freak, not knowing what was going to happen. Which turned out not so bad except for the needle. I'm not a needle person. I had a masectomy on my left side Oct. 21. With a Power Port placed in. Suppose to start chemo the week after Thanksgiving. I see my Oncologist Friday to find…

posting avatar
If anyone wants to post an avatar (picture above your user ID) and don't have a scanner- ask someone you know that has a scanner to scan it for you and send it in an email. If it's in your inbox you can move it and change the size to under 150 x 150 and use it in the boards.

Embarrassing Medical Exams 1. A man comes into the ER and yells . . .' My wife's going to have her baby in the cab.' I grabbed my stuff, rushed out to the cab, lifted the lady's dress and began to take off her underwear. Suddenly I noticed that there were several cabs - - - and I was in the wrong one. Submitted by Dr. Mark…

Tuesday funny
A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine. 'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.' 'Pencil,'however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.' A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?' Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the…
