Are you refering to this picture or the one in your expressions?
I think Rotweiller for this pup. The nose looks shorter and the chest looks wider than a doberman. Either way, she is a pretty one.
That's exactly what my friend the pet shop owner said.......!
Thank you for saying she is pretty, I think she is gorgeous too!.... Hugs Jxxxxxxxx0 -

Well, then how is she coming on training you? My brother had the world's dumbest dog. A dalmation. It would dig up the trees (2) in his yard and carry them around in his mouth. These were good sized trees. My brother would replant them and the dog would dig them up. Maybe he was afraid they were a fire hazard. My brother replanted the trees in the front yard. Then the dog would climb the 6 foot fence to get to the swimming pool. My brother rescued him several times from under the solar blanket. Finally gave the dog up to a Dalmation Rescue group. I think they are a stubborn, not too bright breed.
Aren't pups fun? They can be wicked and single minded but so loving while chewing up slippers and shoes and furniture and your hands and legs. We always had lab mixes and they were great dogs. Trained really well. But one was afraid of water, afraid of lightening and fireworks (any loud noise) and got car sick. I told my hubby it was good that we hadn't got him as a hunting dog. He would have puked all the way to the duck blind, hid when the shotgun was fired, and then would have refused to retrieve the duck. One 4th of July, we weren't home in time and he chewed his way through the garage side door and was cowering in a corner. Poor baby. We got sedatives for him after that and used them every 4th of July. But other than that he was a great dog. Great around children, just a big old loving sweetheart.
Emmy will be a sweetheart soon enough and a touch of wicked is always good.
COuld she be a mix of Rottie and Dobie? Whatever she is, Emmy is cute. They just want us to think they are morons. It's all a act so they don't have to live up to our expectations. Don't buy into it. You will prevail. LOL

Yep, after looking at both breeds in my AKC book (I'm a pet groomer) your pup looks much more like a rottie, with that wide face and chest. What a cutie! As for house training, I am no good at it. I am still trying to train my 3 year old poodle mix.0 -

Them markings don't carry onto crosses.......But I wonder Half and Half?....... Ohhh Stef you had one the same as I did....... I got an English Pointer *(Horrible Hector) He was gun-shy as hell........But he looked the part... And I loved him with all my heart.....He was so special. A part of me died when he did.
He was meant to be a hunting dog but he only pointed at watering cans, wheelbarrows and ran like hell when a gun was fired ot a pheasant flew out of the bush! I still miss him

What could be dafter?... LOL, they were trained to run between the back wheels of a carriage......What sort of daft sod would do that?
They are virtually untrainable...

I would order it for her, but she and I aren't talking right now. This goes on all the time with her and with the whole family. Maybe all the more reason to do it, huh?
You are so right about daft sod dalmatians. What other dog would follow a fire truck and run towards a fire. Your Hector sounds just like our Sam. We got him when Denise was 2 and we were devastated when he died. He didn't like birds either. But he did catch a couple of snakes in the yard. Then came Dixie Doodle. Wasn't going to get another dog, but we were at the school carnival and there was the sweetest little lab mix shelter dog, that captured our hearts so home she came. Then a few months later, the neighbors split up and had to give up their lab mix, Daisy. Now Daisy had been coming over to my car for years when I came home from the grocery store. I would always open the dog bones and give her one and she would take and trot back home. How could we turn them down when they asked us to take her? She already got along with ours. We had them both for many years and they died within months of each other. I vowed no more pets, but here I am now, the cat lady. But I swear this is it, no more, no guppies, no lizards, no dogs, no cats, no spiders, no nothing. Yeah, we'll see.
I will let you know about Achmed. I am just not sure I can deal with the fallout if I get it and send it to her. I love her but she is a certifiable nutcase.
