New Benign Tumor while on letrozole?
Has anyone developed benign tumors while actively taking letrozole? I have been on letrozole since January 2019 after having a lumpectomy and radiation for left breast DCIS in October 2018. At my yearly breast MRI the result was suspicious for my right breast. I just had a biopsy which discovered a new benign tumor in my…

Post Mastectomy/DIEP FLAP Pain
Hi! This is my first post here. I was diagnosed last year, at 41 with IDC, ER/PR positive, HER2 - stage I BC. I opted for a double mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction. It has been almost a year to the day of my surgery and I am struggling with what I call rib pain. It is right where my bra band sits - and…

Hi everyone I have to go get a biopsy because I have microcalifications in my right breast. Darker Skin, Hair Growth, Neuropathy and Water Rention
I had my last chemo on October 5, 2022. I wanted to know if anyone had any tips on when my hair might start growing back and any tips on helping it grow back sooner. BC, Triple Positive - Newbie
Good Afternoon from Cleveland! I am a newbie on this board. I had my first mammogram in July of 2022, as a prerequisite for breast reduction surgery - and it was negative. By the grace of God, the pathology post reduction surgery showed what the mammogram didn't: Stage 1, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - triple positive - right…

Shoulder/arm/neck pain
Maybe this is not surprising to others on this list, but 6 weeks after I finished all my scheduled treatment (4 rounds A/C, mastectomy, 4 rounds Taxotere, 28 radiation sessions), I suddenly developed a moderately frozen shoulder within a period of 2 weeks. I am so glad that I went to physical therapy yesterday to find out…

Returning to work after a single mastectomy?
I know it's different for everyone, but how quickly did you all return to work after your mastectomy? I'm not having reconstruction. I'm 40 and otherwise healthy. Office-type job, not strenuous, although I would need to drive to it. When did you start to feel "better" again?

CHEK2 Mutations for Breast Cancer
Here I go again. Had BC when I was 49 on the RT, and now in the LT breast at 68. IS THERE ANYONE out there that has been through this? I am…

Not seeing a medical oncologist until after surgery
I saw a breast surgeon, a plastic surgeon, and a radiation oncologist in that order. Based on the info they provided me I opted for a lumpectomy with a lift and inter operative radiation.
