I had a complete hysterectomy lin May of 2011. Underwent six sessions of chemo and two of radiation. Feeling great despite the neuropathy in my feet. Now I have a four inch tear that needs repair. New here - hello, eveyone
I have been recently diagnosed with uterine cancer. I come here looking for support, as there are no support groups in this area. I've not yet started treatment, have an appointment at Dartmouth for a consultation on the 10th. This is the first major illness I have ever had. I could use some help with this: my weight is…

Is ther a link between uterine and colon cancer if there's no Lynch or hnpcc syndrome?
I ask because the gastroenterologist wanted to do a colonoscopy, in part, because of the uterine cancer. I do not have Lynch Syndrome which seems to be closely tied to uterine and colon cancer. I had a colonoscopy about 5 years ago and it was fine. I started the prep this week and couldn't Hold it down. The doctor said I…

Withdrawal from HRT
I have been on HRT for over 30 years (I am 65) because of bone loss. They have to take me off it now because of the cancer. It will be an abrupt cessation of the estrogen and progesterone. I gather I will go into menopause. Has anyone gone through this - how bad is it? I already have significant anxiety and depression…

Worried about my daughter
Not particularly worried about cancer (endometrial tissue was fine), but it's still girl parts, so I'm going to vent here. My daughter is 39 and had a uterine ablation on the 6th because of excessive almost daily bleeding. She also has pretty significant cramping and has all the hormonal pms stuff. The hope was that the…

Attention deficit disorder compounded by menopause
I have had such a hard time focusing on work since my hysterectomy that it's starting to scare me. I've had ADD my entire life, but did not know it until well after completing law school. Aromasin seems to be working
Went to the doctor today. My CA 125 went from 79 to 161. I was going to be happy with anything less than 200. So I was happy. I know others worry with the slightest increase in their CA 125's, but when mine has gone up to 3200 I don't worry about 161. I know it is doubling, but I have no symptoms. I will go back in5 weeks…
