PSA Remains at <0.1
Good news arrived via USPS yesterday. My PSA is at <0.1 (undetectable) for the seventh consecutive six-month checkup. I am pleased to share my happy feelings with all of you. Heading for surgery
I haven't been on this forum very much. I was diagnosed with PC in January,2011 with a PSA of 4.9. Had two biopsies that confirmed Gleason of 2+2=6 in 2 areas. Another Zero
Just went for my one year checkup today and it came back a zero (undetectable) And yes I do believe in PSA testing. After being operated on 1 year ago its nice to know at lease for now its gone. Hopefully it will stay that way. Bob

Cancer returns

17 mons cathing after brachytherapy
I have been unable to void my bladder and had 12 UTI's in the past 17 mons. My doc now suggests a turp . I haven't seen one success story of a turp after brachythearpy. Also the ams option has its controversy as the next step if incontinence comes to stay. Does anyone have a comment or advice . Hoping for a viable solution!

good news & question re ht & radiation
I am so happy to report that my husband's bone scan, x-ray and cat scan all came back negative and the doctor feels the cancer is contained to him prostate. I understand it could actually be a bit outside which won't show up on any of these tests, but still this is great news for us. Have been sitting on pins and needles…
