Just finished with the last carbo which was delayed for two weeks on account of low Platlets on week 1 and low WBC on week 2. My WBC was still low but they went ahead with carbo at 20% reduction since it…

The abdominal area was clean, as was my abdominal/pelvic CT. May 8 CA 125 was 12.6 I see my dr. on the 24th. He may order a chest CT at that time just to be sure, but he isn't…

Night Sweats
I am having real problems with night time sweats. It is something I used to have when I was first diagnosed. At the time my oncologist said it was the "activity of the cancer" causing the heat. It soon went as the chemo began working. However, it is back. My numbers are up to 1,600 ish and I know my cancer is growing. I…

The pain I'm having in my stomach are due to a tumor on my small bowel. the report reads-there are some dilated fluid-filled loops of small bowel measuring 3.9 cm in diameter, nonspecific and may represent ileus pattern, however, developing small bowel obstruction is conceivable. Next week (wed,) we will start cisplatin.…

I was diagnosed at age 39 with Stage IIIA. Been in remission since 7/00, and my CA125 has been 10-14 ever since, so my prognosis looks good. BUT, I keep saying to myself: "What now?" defeated and not feeling well
since they made me a stage 3 with lymph node involvement I have felt so defeated. My surgery was done with a laproscopy. I wonder if I would have done the other surgery if things would be better now? All I know is if one more person tells me to "stay strong" I am going to blow a gasket. It makes me feel like I am letting…
