JIM AND FOXY FOXY
Jim: Don't know if you saw this one: Just wanted to tell you how beautiful that picture is of Foxy snuggling with her stuffed animal. She has very interesting, pretty ears, I think. Amazing, she learned to ring a bell when she wants to go out. My last two fox-terrier type dogs never were totally housebroken. We tried and…

Survivorship Plateau
It has been two years since I was first diagnosed with Lymphoma. I was extremely symptomatic and things moved very quickly after my diagnosis, confirmed by CT scan and needle biopsy. In a state of shock, I met my Oncologist, had 11 vials of blood drawn, had a bone marrow biopsy, an ultrasound, a PET scan, an…

Partner who has lymphoma pushed me away I need advice
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or if anyone can help me or not but I could really do with some advice. Modern Prayers
When I picked up our 4-year-old granddaughter on Friday, to spend the weekend with us, she was carrying a small Bible. As I drove, I kept glancing in the mirror at her--in the back seat, safely buckled into her carseat. She was holding the little Bible and poking at it with her bitty finger. When she noticed I was watching…

Foxy has a smile for you :)
My brother in law took this the other day while we were playing with Foxy in his back yard. She loves frisbees! She hasn't learned to catch them yet but is trying. She is improving but is still an energetic puppy. Had an incident a month ago with her right hind knee. Vet said it's a "luxating patella" which basically means…

I started a new subject because I didn't want to take up any serious space. We have a 30 foot Cameo with one big slide out. You won't believe this but we bought it on Ebay. (2000) We knew we wanted a Cameo and this was brand new and never been used. The guy was going to retire and live in it in Alaska but got an offer he…

Hello all :) I just found this place last night and start chemo today. Background, I am a 39 year old (soon to be 40) post surgical nurse at a fairly busy hospital who dug in her heels for a week with shortness of breath thinking I had diagnosed myself. Hi Guys, Didn't want you to think I've deserted the group, but things here have been very hectic for the last few months. Blindsided all of us…

Could this be Lymphoma???
So for well over 2 years I have had a pea sized lump located right along my jaw line. When I initially noitced it my primary Doctor sent me to a Maxillofacial Surgeon thinking it might be a salivary gland the surgeon did a panoramic xray and said it looked like a cyst but to be sure I had to have it biopsied. I declined…

UPDATE
I had my surgery yesterday and it went well. The surgeon only had to go in laproscopicly to get a biopsy from the two spots that were left after the summer dheom camp. He said the only reason he could do this was because he had help from another surgeon that is a specialist with using ultrasound. I'm not in too much pain…

The results are in ....
The two little spots that showed up in the "halfway scan" were still there. Most likely I have two forms of lymphoma. Somehow my dr. set me up with my surgeon right after my appt. with him so I'm currently waiting in the waiting room to see him. I've already met with his "fellow." So the plan is to biopsy the two nodes or…
