Clinical Trial - MPDL3280A + bevacizumab (avastin)
As some of may know from my previous posts I am a long term kidney cancer survivor. In 1990 I lost my left kidney to RCC. That was followed by 14 good years. During this time I was getting regular check ups. During a check up in 2004 a mass was found on my right kidney. I was sent to UCLA where a partial nephrectomy was…

Scientific Progress in Kidney regeneration
http://www.bbc.com/news/health-34312125 There is progress in growing kidneys from stem cells and getting them to work in test animals. Human testing is a ways off, but the results are hopeful. All of us who are firing on one cylinder will want to see this. Jack

Thank you Paula! MPDL3280A
I've been on this forum for almost 4 years. I don't post a lot anymore, but I always read the posts. I'm on a trial which combines MPDL3280A (atezolizumab), an anti PDL1 drug, with Interferon Alfa 2B. I've been on this trial for 7 months. After initial lung met swelling, I have had significant shrinkage on the last 2…

The report states pT1a which I undertand is the best case scenario. For the grading though, it says G2. Can anyone explain the grading system, please?

Hi, all, Tomorrow morning is my follow up with my urologic surgeon, Dr. Lallas, at Jefferson in Philly. To be honest, my mind is in a really good place about it. My tumor was benign
I just found out my tumor was benign. So I can't call myself a cancer survivor. im in shock a bit. Stomach Ph and TKI
I just attended a talk given by a pharmacist at Cedars Sinai on Monday for our monthly Kidney Cancer Support group. She said that antacids are one of the most…
