Help! Severe hearing loss from radiation treatment?
I had about three months of radiation on my neck and chest area in 1991. Last year I started to lose my hearing in my left ear, the same side I was radiated on. I have severe nerve damage and cannot hear at all out of it. My oncologist believes it is a result of the treatment. Has anyone else had this problem?

driving
Any feedback on driving yourself to treatment each day? Is it possible at all or for the entire 6 weeks? What about working while in treatment? From all that people have shared, I expect "post" treatment to be a good time to not be working, but at what point is it still possible? Any feedback on the day to day expectations…

Today we went to the ENT's for prognosis after the second round of F&A's and another CT scan 10 days ago and although we knew they'd want to do surgery I was sure they'd only do a 'selective' neck dissection cuz through all the conversations with all the…

I was really hoping for good news
On Tuesday he had a follow up CT scan and we had hoped for good news. Unfortunately what we got was the complete opposite -- all this intensive treatment did not work. My husband has a huge choice ahead of him. Not do anything and the tumors will eventally kill him - the doctors can't say how long it will take as they do…

Hello all. I have 2 RAD treatments left and then they cut the apron strings and I wait 9 weeks for the PET scan. I just feel so left out in the cold. mouth dehydration
Hello everyone. I'm not on this particular board often, because my primary diagnosis is lung cancer, but it has now metastasized to my bones and throat. It has created a tumor which has completely obstructed my esophagus so I am no longer able to swallow anything (not even my saliva). Because of this, my mouth gets…

Finally Finished with Treatment
Hello Y'all My husband finished his last rad this week. All the DR's and staff were standing there applauding when he came out of the room.
