Will see my surgeon on the 19th and he'll give me the results of biopsy and CT then and then he said we'd work out a new plan of treatment. Waiting is going to be very hard.…

What is a PET scan and CEA? They are not terms that we use in British Columbia. Also, if you have a reaction to your first round of chemo, how long would it take after the treatment? My father's treatment starts Mon., and I will stay til Thurs. so am trying to gear up. In conversation it is all very matter of fact, but I…

CEA Question
Hi All, I notice here lately that several of you said you CEA was "normal" while you had active tumors. What do you mean by normal? I have read less then 5 is normal, but I have also read 1 or below is the real normal. What were your CEA results that you thought were "normal"? Just curious. Lisa P.

Tsunami Poem !
Tsunami Poem Mommy! A tsunami! You heard your young child say. But when you reached to take his hand, your son was washed away. Mommy! A tsunami! You heard his sister scream. You tried to run, but couldn't move. You woke. It was a dream. For us, a figment of our minds while blanketed in bed. But for those who were swept to…
