Know anything about VA Insurance?
Hi all - I just now found out that my 3 year old granddaughter's (who knew?) "other grandfather" - her mother's father - has been diagnosed with Stage II liver cancer. They tell him that in spite of it "just" being Stage II, he is in partial liver failure already. He feels fine right now. They tell him that he needs a…

I am excited, since my FOLFOX regime involves having to stay in the hospital for 3 days (well, 2.5). I'm interested in hearing from others -- especially those who have experienced…

Hair loss
I visited the wig shop today, just in case, and wondered how many of you ended up wearing one after six months on Folfox? I think its actually the 5-FU that causes hair loss, and I gather its more likely to be thinning/bald patches than total alopecia, but I think Im too vain to face the world in such a scraggly state.…

I am a stage 3 colon cancer survivor. I went for my one year anniversary colonoscopy in March, and they found one polyp, which they removed. (I don't remember the name of the type, but it was the one that would have turned into cancer if left there, but it was benign now). Anyway, I wondered what you all think about that.…

Good Morning, Can someone tell me how the xeloda regimen works? My Dad started it a few weeks ago. He just finished 14 days on it and we are already scheduled to see the Dr. today.
