Hi to all. I'm back on line. I've shifted house and set up on my own. I bit the bullet and bought a new puter,boy vista takes a bit of getting used to. So far so good. Cheers Ron.

    I am thrilled you are back with us!!!!!!! I need a new puter too and was wondering about Vista....thanks for the heads up. Are the pups with you? I hope so.

    Struth mate! Ah thawt yah had gorn hidden behind tha "black stump" mate! Geez....I dunno if yah read my post to you when yah said you were leavin' us but I was not a happy chappy knowing yah was havin such a bad time bloke.
    Great to have yah back.....now when I get my own sits sorted out here and my daughter is hopefully outa tha woods, you n me gotta do some serious jawbreakin!
    Both Jen and I wish you the very best Ron.....so many things sent to test us all....but yah gotta break thru tha crap bloke....yah friends are here for yah!

    BTW.....did yah hear with tha drought here in south oz they might consider a pipeline from Ord River Dam up north?(well water runs downhill, don't it?)

    Thanks to all for the welcome back,Ross and Jen my best wishes for your daughter. Kathi I shouldn't be on line yet ,the server in Aust has a special vista team that is going to call me soon (about ten days) to help me get the net and email set up. What is with Bill he seems to have caught every one with their pants down this time(even symantec) I suppose if we can survive cancer what odds a piece of technology.
    I don't have any pets now lisa.p ,none allowed here, I visited them the other day and the dogs barked at me(the cats just ignored me) How soon they forget. Perhaps I should get injected with cat genes . Cheers All.

    Ron, How awesome to see you back so soon! You have taken some great first steps in your new chapter of this saga we all call life! You don't know how ou made me day by letting us know that you are here and involved again! We long-term survivors know that surviving cancer means surviving cancer AND life as a survivor! Wish I had a gift for your new apartment...my best wishes will have to do!

    I read your post about dealing with cancer at the same time as going through a divorce... been there as well. I kicked my ex out of the house in October of 2003, which was the same time i first had symptoms of what i found out in August of 2004 was colon cancer. However, I have never regretted the separation and subsequent divorce. If he had stayed around, i would have wound up having to comfort him, since he was having such a hard time dealing with his wife having cancer, etc. It's been a tough ride, but it could have been much worse! I hope you are doing well and having a successful fight with the beast.

    I am so delighted that you are back on board (ha ha). You have been a source of inspiration for many for many years. Wishing you all the best as you go thro what I'm sure is a challenging transition.....(and not just the computer stuff!).
