Appt. went well!
Hi, I wrote earlier in the week about the results of my husband's CT scan and wondered why things were mentioned this time and never in the previous 2 CT scans. Well anyway the doc said each radiologist reads them different and this one did a great job! He told us he has actually had ones come back with findings of "no…

Fluorouracil & long term sensitivity to sun?
I stopped 5FU chemo over 3 years ago and noticed I am much more sensitive to the sun than before chemo and cancer. I know there is short term sensitivity during chemo and for a few months thereafter, but I couldn't find any information about long term sun sensitivity resulting from flurouracil. Has anyone noticed the same?

Treatment starts on June 16th...Clinical Trial
Hello everyone. It's been a rough two weeks since I've been diagnosed...the roller coaster of emotions and all the trips to the hospital for tests and appointments have been really draining, both physically and emotionally. But my husband and I are plodding through. The doctors have not given me a stage for my cancer, but…

Help! I've been hospitalized several times since my November resection for Stage 1 colon cancer. It was originally thought that my pain and distress was coming from "backing up" quite a bit. I've been on a heavy regimen of Miralax and Benefiber. The problem persists. I just spent another couple of days in the hospital with…

Question about CT scan results
Hi all, Have a question about my husbands latest CT scan. It's been a 1 year since his last scan which resulted in surgery to see about a spot that lit up on the PET scan. It was nothing. Anyways, this scan says: there is a small 11mm enhancing lesion within the posterior segment of the right lobe of the liver. This is…

Hello I have seen posts from people about the chat on this site. I have a temporary solution while this site gets theirs up and running again. Macrobiotics Question
Hello, First of all, thank you to all of you who were so supportive of me when I was first diagnosed (only 1 week ago today officially).
