drainage container belt
Does anyone know about a belt that you can place your drainage containers in so that they are not flopping around. Someone told me about it but can't remember where/how she got it. It was a mother/daughter team that came up with the idea somewhere in California. thanks

Wheee! Ball is rolling!
Dear sisters, Today, after over a week of multiple daily "battles" with our insurance co., pointing out that the more time I spend on wasted calls to "approved" surgeons who are no longer there, who have lost privileges, who don't do breast work any longer, etc., etc. and after explaining that time is truly of the essence…

Melatonin for Sleeping
I noticed a lot of people have sleeping issues. I never had trouble before my treatments but now ... well my husband always had trouble and used Melatonin. He finally got me to use it and it works for me. I drift off about 1/2 hour after taking it. I take 3 mg. I don't feel drugged in the morning and I've read reports that…

Is it the A/C or Tamoxifen?
This seems an insignificant question in view of what we all have went through -- I'm thankful I am doing fine now -- it has been a year since chemo (A/C followed by Taxol) and all my scans were clean. I have been taking Tamoxifen for 9 months -- while I feel much like my "old self" I notice that my nails are still soft and…

Expander pain
Hi Chas, I have had a double mastectomy ( invasive lobular and ductual cancers) and also opted for immediate expanders since 8/21/02. It is ten months later and I've learned that more time between the fills helped in allowing the area to heal and minimizes the pain. Pillows to prop my arms at night when I slept balanced…
