Finally! My picutre!
This is after my shaving party--my head got cold so fast! I have to tell you about the pink shirt. I *never* wear pink--well, I didn't until after my dx. I was given a really cute pink cap at a local BC support group, so I had to find a shirt to go with it. When I saw this one, I couldn't resist--I was born in the Chinese…

Question about bone mets and chemo
I did the whole thing: 4 rounds of A/C, 4 rounds of Taxotere, double mastectomy (stage IIIa and triple negative), and 38 rads, finishing on Oct. 20. In dDecember, bone mets were found on my lower spine, so chemo started again Dec. 15, a massive dose of Taxol that put me to my knees. At the suggestion of many of you, I then…

Not sure why I'm depressed...
I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction using a TRAM flap on Jan. 19th. The surgery went well, but discovered that the DCIS was actually invasive cancer, grade 2, in a .5cm area.
