OT- Hubby just asked how to make mashed potatoes
And I'm silently chuckling to myself - how can you not be able to tell when the potato is done? Now, I'm sure we'll be having mashed potatoes on a regular basis - he's retired, you know! Tee hee, Sue

I was on Herceptin for six months. I was supposed to continue it for one year. After my muga scan last Tuesday, it showed my heart function has decreased considerably and I have to stop this treatment for the time being. I see my oncologist on Tuesday for further details. Newly diagnosed with Stage II
I have another question. I have a 5 cm lump in my right breast and my doctor has me starting chemo Monday. He ordered six rounds of Cytoxan/Taxotere to try to reduce the tumor to make it easier to remove with a lumpectomy. After the surgery, more chemo, then radiation. I have estrogen negative receptors so I can't take…

What do you do for scar tissue?
I have some scar tissue from my lumpectomy and rads and my oncologist said he could set me up with a PT to massage it and it would really help. I massage it myself every now and then, but, it is still there. Anyone else go to a PT for this and did it help? Thanks, Leeza

can we have a survey.......how many of us work (after chemo, etc) but may be on arimidex, etc.?
I am just wishing that I could go ahead and retire, but $$$ it is not feasible. Loving my job isn't enough for me anymore. I long to have less stress, and more flexibility with doctor's appts.-- and some plain, old, "me" time. Repeated UTIs, fevers, antibiotics, that they are still trying new approaches, a kidney stone…
