Beginning chemo on Monday.
Monday morning at 8 I go into surgery to have the port put in. At 1 PM I will recieve my first round of chemo. i will be getting Cytoxan and Taxotere. Any one have any experience with these drugs? I will be getting 4 tx, 1 every 3 weeks. Sandy

Thanks for the bus rides and company and goodies. Had breast exam Monday and pelvic this morning. Both ends good to go for another 6 months. I have to share some good news!
My ENT Surgeon just called with the results from my neck dissection.....all 25 nodes taken were clear!!!! So I only have to have radiation on my lower lip and chin:) All of your prayers worked, thank you all so much!!!! I will get my VATS path results next week.

Had my lumpectomy this morning. Surgery went well. 2 nodes removed and both were clear. Surgeon said preliminary test shows that he got a real clear margin. Drain in for only a few days (I hope). I got lucky when I saw the onco he had a lady from the memphis area and she was able to give me a name of an onco. A little bad news it seems like chemo changed my body to longer I can have gluten. Everything else is normal. Going gluten is not going to be fun but i will do my best at it.I can now also write off dairy.
