As I continue to study this horrible disease and the barbaric, perhaps worse than the disease treatments, I keep hearing distant voices from individuals and the internet, saying that our cancer M.D.'s typically shun radiation and chemo when THEY get this disease. graviola, C-statin (bindweed) Ukrain
check into these! graviola is good if youve had chemo already and the cancer is resistant. C-statin is 100x stronger than shark cartilage at preventing mets. Ukrain is a plant alkaloid compounded with a chemo (thiotepa.) it is only toxic to cancer cells. God Bless

cutting edge and alternatives
C-statin from bindweed, is supposed to be very antiangiogenic (prevents blood vessel growth.) If your tumor is squamous, look into tyrosine kinase inhibitors. if adeno, would try clinoril 200 twice daily with lipitor 80 once to make the tumor cells commit suicide. Actos or avandia (diabetes drugs) may potentiate this…

Eating
It has been two months since last radiation treatment for throat cancer. My husband has tired of puddings, yogurt, etc and is trying to eat more solid foods. Canned peaches, lightly scrambled eggs and poached egg on bread with gravy seem to go down most easily. Does anyone have other ideas for "slippery foods"?
