My husband had his last radiation treatment Mar 1. He was getting beter and able to eact some different foods until 2 wks ago. His throat got sorer, and appeared swollen and it was again har to swallow. Could this be a temporary relaspse? Exam last week showed throat "looked good".

    Jaunty,

Unfortunately, this seems to be a problem that does reoccur. I have had a sore throat several times since I finished radiation. The only advise I can give is talk to your doctor, it may be an infection. Just hang in there, it will get better. I'm glad to hear that your husband has been eating real food. Good luck to you and him.
