I started going to this CSN site and seeing this discussion group a few days ago after a lot of the discussion points and questions had already been submitted. I had my cancer of the tongue, squamous cell carcinoma, 14 years ago. I went through surgery and radiation.
To respond to some of the previous questions:
I give myself a fluoride treatment every night to avoid tooth loss. In fact I was told tooth loss could be devestating after radiation.

Several years ago my primary care physician noticed hypothyroid. I have been on .112 mg of Levoxyl each day for about four years.

leecat,
Are you still interested in a chat room? I would be interested in joining one. We have to make sure of the time and corresponding time zone.

Everyone please take care and hang in there.
