Christians
Sometimes, we are who we are. I once was a Pastor, the Church of Christ. Organized religion was I. There came a time, I no longer believed. I still believe in a Supreme Being, in a Great Spirit, but not in the way most "Christians" believe in. I never lost that belief, He, It, is still there for me. I simply no longer…

Not exactly what I was hoping to hear - CEA
After my resection my CEA was 2. It slowly climbed until chemo and during the first few treatments, and then slowly dropped back to 2 and stayed there. It was 2 mid-May after completion of chemo. I am back up to 8.1. I'll have a re-check next week, and then see my onc the following Friday (he's on vacation next week). For…

Well we got up at 4:30 am and drove the 110 miles to the surgery center for my 5th colonoscopy in 2 years. The whole damn time hoping all the prep was out of me. Kept the bottom side puckered the entire trip. Just made it without sharting green Jell-O residue in my pants. Got another hot nurse to take care of getting me…

Hi everyone. Had 9th round of chemo today and my CEA levels continue to drop. Started at just over 9000 in late April and are now 68.4. Note to Buzzard
I know how you feel when you say you hope for a primary cancer and not mets from CRC. My husband is also going through the same exact thing. Last year he battled stage 3 colon cancer. Three weeks ago he had a vats biopsy of the lung. The doctor told us the same thing. If it has to be cancer hope it is a primary and not…

Need a calendar
Folks we have a lot going on here at the board and it has been hard to keep up with the dates for everyone. I for one don't want to miss the opportunity to give best wishes to those heading for surgeries or other difficult procedures. Could we start a thread for "upcoming procedures"? No chat about the weather, just what…
