Scan results - calling on the posse for some help
Hello all Well the results of the PET/CT Thursday showed progression on all four lung nodules, two now 1.1 and 1.2 for which the good news was that now they can do a CT guided needle biopsy instead of VATS. This news is very deflating (no pun intended. I've been feeling great, keep getting stronger, honing my diet,…

So I was sending out my Christmas cards yesterday to include the ones I needed to send from our Christmas list on CSN. The part that made me sad was looking at the list and reading off to the side that they had died. Wow what a reality check and a slap in the face that one day any of us could be on that list. I quickly…

A beautiful animation
I just love this animation and thought I would share it with you all. What amazes me is the creativity. There were the dancers who danced this story, that was choreographed by a choreographer. Then another group of people took that dance and turned it into what looks like a simple animation ... yet it is so beautiful. The…

Scan Results and Next Plan of Action
Well, I got the results from my CAT scan after 8 Cycles of Xeloda. Definitely not what I was hoping for! The last CAT scan was in Sept and the results were great! Not only had the tumours in the lungs stopped growing, there was a 30% shrinkage, and that was after only 4 Cycles. So, 4 more Cycles and of course I was…

Scan Results in - Trial over
Hi everyone. Very discouraged as my scans showed new growth in my lungs and what was there pretty much doubled in size. I had the advantage of getting the scans - DVD and written report to hand carry to SF, so of course I read it. I was glad I did, it allowed me to be in better emotional control. Anyway, my labs, eco and…

The True Meaning Of Christmas by Brian K. Walters In todays' day and time, it's easy to lose sight, of the true meaning of Christmas and one special night. Off topic...but tomorrow (December 12) will be hard....
It was my daughter, Stephanie's, birthday. It's been almost 4 years since she is gone, but I still miss her. It's true that she had her troubles. She was emotionally disturbed and mentally retarded. But, she had a heart of gold. On a 'good' day, she would always have a smile, and a hug, for all of us. Happy Birthday, my…

He is having 10 or more loose stools a day lately and he gets his 7th folfox Tuesday. Needless to say his bum is hurting! Is it typical for this to continue to get worse as the…
