I have been trying to understand Dali's work. What is the interpretation of the melting clocks? Not being able to figure it out is keeping me awake at night. Lol

    You are right but not only for melting clocks but for his whole work ,style of life and behavior ,you know that he was a Franco admirer?.

    Who is FrancoV It is funny. I can usually find studies on line for art to expain it to me. There are none for Dali.

    If you think the melting clocks were strange have you seen his Alice In Wonderland paintings? It's like trying to make sense out of Picasso. Salvador was a surrealist painter. Personally, I don't like either, LOL.

    look to Velazquez's " las Meninas" or " the surrender of Breda" may be you prefer our classics?.
    But... maybe l agree with you about Dali but Picasso to me is Huge!

    Ahhh, I just have no taste in paintings, or so I've been told.
    But I do love walking around Barcelona enjoying your Antonio Gaudi buildings, his architecture to me is ART!!! I had so much wonderment and fun there.

    Marie Today I have been in " la pedrera" there is a shop on the
    ground flor and had to buy something there glad you like it!

    Hahaha! Ketz some others asked for it but l regret to
