It was my daughter, Stephanie's, birthday. It's been almost 4 years since she is gone, but I still miss her.

It's true that she had her troubles. She was emotionally disturbed and mentally retarded. But, she had a heart of gold. On a 'good' day, she would always have a smile, and a hug, for all of us.

Happy Birthday, my sweet angel, I hope things are better for you now and you rest easy....

    I simply can't imagine such a loss; I wish I could give you a hug right now. At this time of year we often reflect upon the special times that we've shared with our loved ones who have passed.     When would something of this magnitude be off topic? Never.
    My heart aches along with yours at the loss of any of our children. Remember with a smile the wonderful moments, although I know, nonetheless, that the tears will fall at the same time.
    Will be thinking of you tomorrow with special thoughts, that you will hold just the good moments in your mind.
    I think your sweet angel, is simply that at this moment, a sweet angel, smiling down on her Mama, wanting her Mama not to cry, but to smile at the love you both shared.

    Dear, dear Kathi.

    You are the sweetest person, and I wish I could take some of the pain away for you. I have not experienced such a loss myself, but my cousin's son died when he was 9 years old, and she has never been quite the same. It's just such a hard blow.

    I'll be saying special prayers for you tomorrow.

    Sending you a great big cyber hug. December is going to be especialy sad for our family this year too.My Mom was like a child when it came to holidays and I am going to miss her excitement.Knowing that our loved ones are still with us forever and ever in our hearts and memories helps a lot, but we still have our moments.
