I was too out it when the gastroenterologist came in to discuss things. He told Bill that it's being biopsied. The nurse came in a little later and said he wants me to do a CT scan. When we…

Elevated CEA level
I have written a blog about my 27 year old son with stage 3 rectal cancer. He had his resection in July of 2010 and a ileo reversed in January of 2011. Monday he had a ct scan and labs. So far all I no is that his liver looks fine but his CEA level is 5.6 which is not in normal limits. I guess my question is: Does this…

Blockage
I had an interesting conversation with my surgeon a few weeks ago about what to expect next and thinking it through today a thought had occurred to me; if my tumor continues to grow (nothing at present is stopping this) it will cause a blockage (the tumor surrounds the distal ileal loop) and then I will have some symptoms…
