It only dropped from 8.3 to 6.9. I don't know how to tell my mum about this. I also worry her oncologist will say something…

Chemotherapy and Drinking Water: What to do?
Because his recent November 2009 surgery didn't remove all the cancer from my husband's body, he has begun a course of Xeloda chemotherapy. The Xeloda prescription bottle says to drink a lot of water when taking the drug. He does that and I'm assuming that the large glass of water consumed with the pill is supposed to…

Off-topic: How would you visualize your cancer?
I'm thinking about painting something relating to my cancer, based upon one of my CT scan images (I haven't decided which one). I'm wondering, if you could see your cancer tumors, how do you imagine they look? What color(s) do you think you would see realistically or symbolically?

Haven't posted in awhile. My wife had another chemoablation on her liver. CEA is a good marker for her, and when it rises, her onc gets busy. Then we spent 9 days on the road. First up, San Francisco, then to Hawaii, then SF on the way back, now back home. Hawaii is too much fun. Pearl Harbor, a Luau on the beach, seeing…

Although I lost my husband to colon cancer eleven months ago today, I still follow developments in this field, hoping that others will not have to suffer as he did. Emotional moment
We had our Relay For Life talent show tonight. My co-captain read a poem called "Every Candle Has a Name." All the people present were given candles, which we lit. Then I told a little bit about some of the group here that we've lost since I've been a member. And then I sang the song "Untitled (Come to Jesus)." There were…

I'd like to post a diversion post here. This is wayyyyyy off topic. This has to do with streaming movies and TV instead of pay cable stations.
