"Science"? try these on for size......
www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0018695
Try this as well:www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2407/11/154/abstract
(also not an easy read--just another example of "science-speak")
Many sites I've cited here are those that provide summaries or rewrites (medicalnewstoday, for instance)so we can understand stuff that was originally written like the two I present here......
some other interesting items about CRC on the internet lately.........
Imprime PGG may be of use to those with both wild and mutated Kras (medicalnewstoday.com/articles/222984.php)
Zaltrap/afilbercept, designed to block blood supply to tumor, is proving effective...numerous sites
medicalnewstoday.com/articles/223354.php on CTNNB1,obesity and CRC
physorg.com/print219654726.html "The past, present and future of cancer"
The following is deemed one of the most-read articles from the journal "Cell":The Hallmarks of Cancer"
cancernetwork.com/breast-cancer/content/article/10165/1839598
and to all a good day.........steve

Another good one:
Is Clinical Connections.com. You can see all the latest studies and clinical trials for all types of cancer. Search around a little, there is a lot going on, and it is pretty easy reading and gives all the contact information. I check there often to see if there is anything new going on by way of clinical trials.
Take care - Tina0 -

so few joined the post alas, i am exercising and not eating sugar.
now science proof about it.
thanks,

"These results provide evidence for a possible interactive effect of tumor CTNNB1 signaling and patients' energy balance status in determining tumor cell behavior. Our data support the hypothesis that progression of a tumor with an inactive WNT-CTNNB1 signaling pathway might be influenced by energy intake and expenditure, whereas a tumor with an active WNT-CTNNB1 signaling pathway might progress independent of energy balance status. Although our data need to be confirmed by independent data sets, tumor CTNNB1 status may serve as a predictive biomarker for response to a prescription for physical activity (exercise) in clinical practice. Because physical activity is a modifiable lifestyle factor, our data may have considerable clinical implications," the authors write.0 -
