1st mammo clear and port out yiippee
well yesterday was a day of joy for me.. 1st mammo clear and had that port taken out . I am sore today but it did not hurt coming out just felt wierd. Today was my last radiation treatment
I am finally finished with all of my radiation treatments, had just a minor setback, so took just a little longer than planned but I am so excited that I am not finished. Yeah!!!!

I made it half way
I have finished the red devil. Now only have to go through 4 of taxol then I am done with chemo. I am very happy I made it thru with out any tummy problems. Slight case of chemo brain lol. And hair lost.

Re-excision Path Report = ALL CLEAR!!
So happy to report I got the "all clear" call today from my Surgeon. The re-excision lumpectomy on Oct 29th gave us benign samples YEEEHAA!!! pet scan update
Ok. The radiologist put an addendum to my scan..rather than hot spot in non existent uterus it was dictated as an adnexal (sp) enitity. Possibly on left ovary. Oncologist office said not to worry. If they thought it was cancerous they'd be calling and screaming!

Surgery,Scared..HELP
In May I was diagnosed with right breast DCIS/IDC at age 32. I will finish chemo in December then in January I will have a double mastectomy. I have chosen to have a prophylactic mastectomy of the left breast. I am wondering what it will physically feel like after surgery. Please share your experiences with me.

I just turned 40 in Aug. My menstruation stopped when I started chemo. in June. Actually it stopped in July. I was wondering if any of you pre-menopausal women got your period back after chemo. finished?? I don't want it back and was just wondering! LOL

I had my surgery yesterday - home today
I had my surgery yesterday, came home today. I had right side mastectomy. I feel pretty good alittle sore no big deal. I have some reading to do as I haven't been here in a couple days. I have made it half way

tamoxifen or armidex
I am 53 and pretty much through menopause and onc said she can switch me from Tamoxifen to an aromatase inhibitor - I've only been on tamoxifen for 8 months - it seems like most people stay on the tamoxifen longer - any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
