Rad Grad today!!!
Today I had my last booster rad.......yeah!!! Chemo done, Rads done, and now just to battle the hand and arm lymphedema and get that controlled. Surgery,Scared..HELP
In May I was diagnosed with right breast DCIS/IDC at age 32. I will finish chemo in December then in January I will have a double mastectomy. I have chosen to have a prophylactic mastectomy of the left breast. I am wondering what it will physically feel like after surgery. Please share your experiences with me.

Menstruation
I just turned 40 in Aug. My menstruation stopped when I started chemo. in June. Actually it stopped in July. I was wondering if any of you pre-menopausal women got your period back after chemo. finished?? I don't want it back and was just wondering! LOL

I had my surgery yesterday - home today
I had my surgery yesterday, came home today. I had right side mastectomy. I feel pretty good alittle sore no big deal. I have some reading to do as I haven't been here in a couple days. I have made it half way
Only 4 more of taxol then I am dancing with ned. I can believe I made it half way. Tummy been happy. The nurse are amazed I had no stomach complaints. I very happy. The port is still apain.

Six month follow up
Well, I go to have my 6 month follow up mammo for microcalcs they couldn;t biopsy. They decided I would just come back in 6 to see "if there are any changes." tamoxifen or armidex
I am 53 and pretty much through menopause and onc said she can switch me from Tamoxifen to an aromatase inhibitor - I've only been on tamoxifen for 8 months - it seems like most people stay on the tamoxifen longer - any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I took my 3rd Chemo today doc added a new drug. Gave me perscription for Decadron. I am to take it the day before chemo, the day of, and the day after. Any idea if this has side effects and what its actually for?
