I'm fairly new here and would love to know where you are all from. If it's too personal I understand but it is interesting to me.
I get clues from some of you, like in the wine question. The Californians answered of course! LOL>
I'm from Massachusetts , down on Ol' Cape Cod.

    Well - not totaly the truth - we actually live a couple of miles East of them, "as the crow flies", on the edge of the prairie.

    Have lived lots of areas in my life as I'm a 'military brat' but SW FL (Punta Gorda) was home. Daddy's family had been there since the 1880's and Mom's family in NW and NC FL for a lot longer. Hubby was USN - in addition to our years in JAX, we were on Whidbey Island, WA for 12 years and 3 1/2 yrs in the northern Mojave Desert, CA before he retired and we came here.

    I am from Killeen, TX which is in the central Texas area and yes it is very hot here too. High 90's every day. I either go out early in the morning or later in the evening but during the day, I am in the house in the a/c.
