Hi, Wanda - Nice to meet you. I also find it interesting how diverse the locations are - especially given that we have so many members outside the US. It's nice to meet you!!

Beautiful Black Hills of Dakota
Well - not totaly the truth - we actually live a couple of miles East of them, "as the crow flies", on the edge of the prairie.
Have lived lots of areas in my life as I'm a 'military brat' but SW FL (Punta Gorda) was home. Daddy's family had been there since the 1880's and Mom's family in NW and NC FL for a lot longer. Hubby was USN - in addition to our years in JAX, we were on Whidbey Island, WA for 12 years and 3 1/2 yrs in the northern Mojave Desert, CA before he retired and we came here.

I'm Kelly - fairly new here myself and I'm in Beautiful Sunny California, just north of L.A
I am from Killeen, TX which is in the central Texas area and yes it is very hot here too. High 90's every day. I either go out early in the morning or later in the evening but during the day, I am in the house in the a/c.
