Chemo Pump
My hubbie will be getting hooked up to his chemo pump soon and we were wondering what the guys out there use to carry it around. The nurse told us to use a "fanny pack" which I just can't see him using! I looked on some medical supply websites but didn't see anything. What do you all use? Our clinic went from a 1 lb pump…

feeling premenstral
I was told that I would most likely not have my period ever again due to the radiation I received for stage 3 colon cancer. It has been 2 years and I'm having cramps and feeling like my period could start up again. I'm also feeling like I have PMS again. Has this happened to any of you ladies?

The province's…

Post VATS rare complication - what next?
I had bilateral VATS on April 1. Since then I have noticed a lump growing in size under my incision scar on my back. I had it looked at today by my surgeon. It's now about 1 & 1/2 inch in size and protrudes by about 1/2 inch. He said, "it looks like tumor". I'm in shock. Most likely the incision was seeded with tumor cells…

Tylonel or ibuprofin??
Question....I pulled a muscle lifting groceries today right where my liver resection starts. I can't remember if there is any restrictions on pain relief when you are on chemo? I take Folfox plus Avastin every other week. When in doubt I usually take Tylonel but I think ibuprofin is better for pulled muscles. Just…

Results as of today
Unfortunately the biopsy results were not in yet, but my Onocologist feels that I am not only tumor free but cancer free as well, he doesn't expect any surprises from the pathology reports. My PET scan was totally clear, and the fact that there was no tumor seen in the colonoscopy made him quite positive that all was well.…

Dear Tide: I writing to say what an excellent product you have! I've used it all through my married life, as my Mom always told me it was the best. Now that I am in my fifties, I find it even better! Does this sound right?
My mom only has 2 chemo rounds left to go!!! Her last treatment will be July 7th. Her oncologist said Tuesday that she would not have a follow up colonoscopy or total body scan until November. So- my guess is that they wait to give the body time to 'recover' from chemo? And if anything should happen to be left in there it…
