Things you forget to tell the doctor
My heartbeat has been irregular for a few weeks. Mostly I only notice it when I am at rest. I keep forgetting to mention it to my Onc or the surgeon. Anyone else do this? If so, what kinds of things do you forget?

Xeloda feet - Gabepentin?
I'm on Xeloda (plus CPT-11 and Avastin). My feet suddenly got worse. Previously, I couldn't hike/walk for exercise -- but now it's painful to walk even 1 block (or down the hall!). It's not so much a matter of dry skin/cracking -- it's much deeper than that (like blisters under the skin...). My oncologist suggested…

Hi everyone. My name is Julie and my husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer in August 2009. Radiation damaged his kidneys so he now has stents in both kidneys which are replaced every three months. After…

I wanted to run some things by everyone to see what your opinions/experiences were. I felt extremely fatigued Friday through Tuesday and…

Treating myself to a Hersheys Chocolate Candy Bar before drinking Readi-Cat2
Yep, scan time again, my, my, my, funny how 3 months goes by too fast. Is anyone on, or has been on, the maintenance chemo plan of Avastin, 5FU, and Leucovorin? I was first diagnosed on 9/11/06, and then re-diagnosed 10/1/10. They just performed a PET scan a few weeks ago, and told me that with the current images combined with CEA numbers going up and down I will be on chemo every 2 weeks for…

Flying with Ileostomy
Has anyone had to fly with a bag yet since all the changes in the TSA? I am headed to D.C. for my honeymoon in a couple of weeks, and wondering if I will have an issue with the TSA. Don't want to get booted off the plane before it takes off.
