I am so sad to hear about Buzz
When I first joined here it was 2009, I had just finished chemo and was scared out of my mind. I thought what if the chemo was the only thing keeping my cancer at bay? I am happy to say I was wrong. But Buzz was one of the first people to reach out to me and talk me off that ledge. Most of the people that helped me…

My onc at Northwestern is on board
Talked to her yesterday after getting my CT scans (no results yet) and she went from hesitant to excited and fully on board with me going to Hallwang. She seemed genuinely excited about what they are doing over there, and felt that the Removab to reduce tumor load would be beneficial regardless of whether the DC vaccine…

Hey all, it's me....again. I have a question. Has anyone here had the HIPEC procedure done & if so, I would love to hear your input. I don't know if Jason is or isn't a candidate, I know he probably isn't right now, but maybe if the chemo shrinks the tumor enough for it to be removed or partly removed? I know this has been…

Interesting Article in Time Magazine: "Sabotage - Why Cancer Vaccines Don't Work"
http://healthland.time.com/2013/03/05/self-sabotage-why-cancer-vaccines-dont-work/ Some interesting fodder between theories and a test tube vs the results in a real life application... Just thought I'd post the link for anyone interested. There was a line from an old butter spread commercial in the 60's that said... "It's…
