New Experience
Good morning.. I had an interesting experience last night and I wanted to share it. I went to a digital camera class last night. For the first time since my chemo I wore a hat instead of a wig. To my surprise I found the men in class didn't seem to mind - they visited with me etc., but the women - I felt they were afraid…

Just to Catch You Up!!
Good Morning to All!!! I know that it has been a long time since I last wrote, so will try to fill in the gaps on what's been happening. I think that the last time I wrote, I had had to put off my 3rd A/C treatment by a week because my WBC was not high enough. Well, by the next week it had come up to the normal range, so I…

Sue & Nancy--new hairline
Thank you both for responding. To Sue--I live just south of Atlanta in suburb of Jonesboro. To Nancy: This hairline has been growing since December--at first all the hair was white and far back! It keeps getting more dark streaks in it and is now about half inch long--if not for the white, it would look like a baby's head…

How can I help my Mom?
My mom was just diagnosed with Stage I breast cancer. I am at a loss as how to help her. She does not want to look at any information. It is almost as if she avoids the info, she can avoid dealing with the cancer itself. I do not know what to say or do to help allay some of the obvious fears and feeling she must be going…
