Hi everyone, I am trying to get the tatooing done to finally be done with my reconstruction. My Plastic surgeon has admitted he does not do a great job with this procedure. Hi, I'm new and would love some answers
Hi everyone, I'm new at this so please bear with me. I hope I don't ramble too much. Last August, I had my yearly mamo and a mass the doctors had been watching since 1993 had developed some micro calcifications. A stereotactic breast biopsy was done which showed a high grade, major solid tumor with multiple part breakdown…

message for "redwoman" (lois)
Hi Lois. I just read your message about the port you still have in. I'm just wondering, did your onc say you needed to leave it in? I got mine out between finishing chemo and starting radiation. The theory from my onc was, if you ever need again, we'll put another one in, but we are not going to leave it in assuming you…

Expander
Dont worry. The surgery wasn't bad compared to what we have been through. The expanding prosess is a little differant. Just a tightness on fill day. I was glad when it was time for my implant. you will be ok. Just another step in the journey.

Too much to cope with
My Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 2 months ago. They started Chemo at the beginning of April, but I don't think the family is really coping with it. Everyone seem to be relying on me for everything (my being unmarried and out of work), but it's just too much for me to cope with right now. Is there anyone…

Instead I still hear the horrors of misdiagnosis and or pure neglect. It upsets me that people suffer terribly and often times without ever…

Cysts biopsied?
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. Last January, my doctor felt a lump in my left breast(mammo 2 months before came back normal) and scheduled an ultrasound. It was found in the "1-3 o'clock" positions that I have 5 cysts---2 that are a little over 2 cm and 3 very small. Next a surgeon had the 2 larger cysts aspirated(with…
