Chemo related hot flashes
I've been on chemo for about 6 months now after a lumpectomy. Things have gone fairly well except for the hot flashes. I'd been having some hot flashes before I started chemo, but once I was on chemo I was having 20+ hot flashes a day! My gynocologist put me on 75 mg effexor daily and that has helped some, especially…

I have to do chemo. Has anyone had a similar situation? I'd love to hear about it. I'm scared of the recovery. I don't want to…

I finished my chemo in July 2010 and my hair came back except in the crown. I have a bald spot and I don't know what to do. I could just cry. Its about the size of the palm of my hand. It has been 2 years, and things are finally settling into place. My iron levels were off but that is fixed and I am forward bound. It is nice to have this healthy life that I have worked so hard on. Every day, I am exercising. I have quit smoking and drinking, so feel like I have a new identity, but I do not really know…

Yep I did! For those of you that don't remember, I did my first Relay For Life in 2010. It was the most enlightening experience I've ever had! Well, not ever had, but, it…

sentinal node questions
I get the whole purpose and basic procedure for the sentinal node sampling. My question has to do with the injection itself. My sister told me (2 years ago after her injection) that it was the most painful experience she has ever had---worse than childbirth with no epidural! Was her experience unique? I am scared to death.…
