Done with Surgery
Was out of there by 11:30 am, off to lunch, drugstore. Kids/grandkids came over, took dog for a walk. Had virtually no pain. The radioactive shot thing, which I was anticipating to hurt like hell, didn't.
I can't tell you how many caretakers I had in the hospital. Every one of them was a gem. I found out later that the surgical nurse packed a surgical hat (with bunnies & flowers) in my bag.
Doc took 2 nodes. Hubby said doc told him that was because 2nd node was so close to sentinal node. I will see surgeon Wednesday for path report.
Thanks for all the coffee and goodies.
Cindy

I never had any unusual procedures either. I hope your recovery is swift and sure. Be sure t do your exercises, eat well, and get plenty of rest. Let others take care of you now.

Glad your surgical procedure is over and behind you. Anticipating something going hurt often doesn't. I have had a lot of radiactive dye in procedures and never found them painful.
Best wishes to you,
Doris
