Hello All, I am a newbie and between Chemo treatments 1 and 2. I am on the T/C regimen and yesterday, 75% of my hair fell out while washing it and taking a shower. Once all of my hair is gone, which i am sure will be within just a few days, how do I wash and care for my bald head? What products, moisturizers, etc. Thanks…

This is MY story and I am stickin' to it
Well I thought my husband and I were going to start a new career as flippers. You know those people who buy forclosuers and renovate them and then sell them for lots of money. Well I found a house that was going to be auctioned off. Someone had gone in after the owners had moved out and pulled all of the copper out. I mean…

pain like a bruise, on my side 1 year after lumpectomy...normal?
I am coming up on my one year from surgery mark next month. I had a lumpectomy followed by radiation. For the past few weeks I feel like there is a bruise on my side, below where my bra strap goes on the side where I had my lumpectomy. It feels like a black and blue but there is no visible bruise. When I stretch my arm up…

Chemo side effect: extra, I mean extra sensitive tongue
Strange side effect to chemo, wonder if any of you have had this experience. Since about the 5th out of 8 chemo's, my tongue feels extra, uncomfortably sensitive. You know that feeling when you taste soup, tea or coffee that is way to hot? Well, that is how my tongue has felt for almost 2 1/2 years. Food that is the least…

Goals Achieve and Reset!!
I just passed a milestone I didn't think I'd see! When I was diagnosed with my recurrence in 2009 we were just about to move. I had a 6th Grader, a 4th Grader and a PreK child. At that time, it hurt to breathe. Cancer had metastisized to my sternum and I was in so much pain that I actually wasn't breathing enough and…

I'm just a blonde when it comes to reconstruction...
When I first got here, I thought you guys were talking about Southern Reconstruction! But seriously, is there a kind of reconstruction that is just one surgery, with no expanders needed? I know when I had the mastectomy 4 yrs ago, they left it so a trans....somekind of tummy tuck-new boob job could be done. I am…

Tamoxifen
I've only been on this drug since July 1st, but I'm asking if anyone out there has ever felt like their mental faculties ever felt 'fogged'....I know this sounds a bit crazy - but it seems like for the first few hours of taking it - I'm not to alert. I know I'm blonde, and that probably doesn't help my cause - ha, ha,…

Actually, I don't live in Sturgis but about 35 miles from there. I work as a dispatcher for a tow company part time but during…
