Clinical Trial
I am currently participating in a national trial for recurrent cervical cancer. I was wondering if anyone else out there is also participating. The trial involves Avastin, so I am also curious if anyone else has had experience with this drug for other gynological cancers. Thanks!

What about Radiation Therapy?
The results of a biopsy taken 3/6/10 showed Metastatic Cancer of Unknown Primary. After being cleared OF 13 other cancers, it was determined I needed a Left Sentinel Node Dissection & Left Radical hemivulvectomy on 5/13/10. The results of those biopsies showed there was cancer in the sentinel node and several microscopic…

My cousin went a week ago for her first Gyno visit--she will be 20 in August. Abnormal pap smear came back and they took biopsies, and then it came as cervical dysplasia---but he says there is a growth inside and outside of her cervix. They want a consultation with her and then are planning on surgery. Anyone have any…

Still overwhelmed
Hi, I'm 33 years old and I finished my radiation and chemo almost two months ago. I'm on hormones because my body was thrown into menopause due to a hysterectomy and the radiaiton. I'm having trouble dealing with that and the health issues that go along with it when I'm so young. I'm also very afraid of cancer coming back.…

HPV can hide for 16 years?
I've been on the Breast Cancer boards since October 2009 after surgery for it in July of that year. Because I'm taking Tamoxifen, I sought out a gyn instead of continuing to use my family practitioner anymore. The annual pap that she did showed HPV. None of my other paps ever showed that. Ever. Annually. So, my question…

Newly diagnosed
I was just diagnosed with cervical cancer but have not been told the stage as of yet. I was referred to a Dr. Dunton in Lankenau but have seen some of the reviews, which weren't good. Can anyone suggest a good gynecological oncologist located in Delaware Valley or Philadelphia? Any help will be appreciated.
