problem with xray with nodes

I just got a call from my dr office and said that I need to do a CAT scan b/c they seen nodes. What does that mean does mean. I was d/xed with 1b vulvar cancer about two months ago.

    It sounds like they've seen
    It sounds like they've seen some lymph nodes on your xray that they don't like the looks of. I would call them and ask. I always forget to ask what they mean when they say stuff till it's too late too. Hope it turns out to be nothing!

    I have a CAT scan in a couple of days. I hate the waiting thing. It is like when I had the surgery then had to wait two weeks later to find out how advanced the cancer was and what is next. I think the worst thing about cancer is the part when you are waiting on test to come back.

    You are 100% correct about
    You are 100% correct about the waiting game. I always get stressed out the week before my next doc appt. too. But waiting for the test results are the pits!! I always watch the body language of the techs doing the tests to see if it changes...some of them don't hide what they've seen very well. Good luck on your upcoming scan.
