Layne did his biopsy
Did well...had a small collapse of the lung but it resolved. Took three hours because the nodes were so small, and preliminary tests are that there is no cancer. Complete results on Tues. Surgery next Thurs. I see that Al will be out on Sunday ...isn't that great? Prayers of thanks all the way round.

The nurse called to check to see if I would be taking care of his feeding tube and other things. There is a slight chance that he may be coming home…

We made it to Houston
Wow...we had to drive to Louisiana to borrow a car--and the rain was so bad we had to pull over at a hotel. That meant we had to get up at 4:30 am to get to the hospital for Layne's tests today. Wow, it was raining cats and dogs the whole way. But we are here and safe!

They're going to watch me for a…

Fatigue or depression?

It is so bad that, for example, today he slept from 9PM last night to 10:40 this morning. I called from work to see if he was okay and I asked him if he had anything to drink. After…

Update on my dad
Hi, Well no real news for my dad. The oncologist said everything has stayed the same and he feels that's good. HOWEVER, we do not. How can that be good. The point of chemo, to me, is to shrink the tumor so that you can hopefully have surgery. The clinical study my dad is in is to do tumor control. Which in his case, is…

Why is the prognosis for EC so low?
