    DX'd August 2011 at Age 56
    DX'd August 2011 at Age 56 (2 weeks after my birthday) ... Stage 2a, ER/PR+, Her2 negative. Oncotype shows 4% recurrence rate. I need 2nd surgery to get the cancer crumbs that were left behind (surgery scheduled for 11/28) Had to go for a CT Scan last week. Onco doc did not like numbers from some labs I had. I now have to see a thoracic surgery (12/5/11) because of spots found on lungs for which the radiologist says are of concern for pulmonary mets. Cancer sucks!

    Malignant Phyllodes x2
    I was diagnosed in 2008 at 46 with malignant Phyllodes, Wide excision was done with a second surgery for margins, and in 2011 at 49 with local recurrance of malignant Phyllodes, bilateral mastectomy was chosen over WLE and radiation.
