    First Breast cancer was at the age of 39 (right side)the second breast cancer was at the age of 44( left side) but so far i have came through it one day at a time.

    When diagnised on Sep 3, 09. Just celebrated my 51st Bday and am getting my last round of chemo any minute now. Yea!!!

    I'd just turned 37. Aug 2009.

    I would be interested in chatting with anyone who's had it at an age where, like me, it throws up lots of other issues (fertility, dating), especially anyone who's a few years on in treatment and has gone on to have children.

    I was 65 in 2006
    I was 65 years old - March 2006 - 0 Stage DCIS -Contralateral mastectomy July 2006. Finished breast reconstruction with the works - nipple - aerola - July 2008 at age 67. Recurrence diagnosed October 2009 - invasive carcinoma - now 68 years old.. Recurrence appeared on top of scar.
    Finished 31 radiation treatments January 19, 2010. Celebrated 69 wonderful years of life in January 2010.
    Next step - medical oncologist.
    I'm living to my 90's. I was told to save my money for my old age because I going to live a long, long time.

    First time age 34 1994,
    First time age 34 1994, second time local recurrance 1995, 3rd time may 2009, currently done with chemo, having day surgery next week then on to radiation and whatever else. I I have a freind who was 31, got married and had two children with a 5 cm tumor 2 nodes, and is doing great. 19 years later.

    When the lump was found, 44 when diagnosed 8/11/09, 45 now & still fighting the battle.

    I was dx'd 3 months after my
    I was dx'd 3 months after my 42nd birthday last May... now 43...

    Diagnosed in July 2009 age
    Diagnosed in July 2009 age 42. Double mastectomy with immediate DIEP reconstruction. Last chemo. treatment this Friday then radiation.
