HI My brother's pet scan came back clear!!! NO sign of cancer in any other organs. We now have to get an okay from the heart doctor before proceeding with the stomach surgery. Monday Aug 2nd my brother is having a heart catherization and from there we will be setting a date for the stomach surgery. Ellen

CAT/PET/MRI what is the difference
Hi, I am just wondering my brother has signet ring cell cancer in the stomach. A cat scan was done and it showed nothing in the other organs. Now they want to do a PET & MRI if it didn't show up in the CAT scan could it show up in the PET/ MRI. What is the difference of these tests. Thanks Ellen
